Problem:
Nothing happens when I click on a Video or Live-Cam link. There is no error message either. Why is that?
Solution:
After selecting your link you'll view the content in a popup window. If you installed a popup killer (Google toolbar, etc.) then you blocked the function and the desired content cannot be watched.
All popup killers should therefore be deactivated for the duration of use.
Problem:
My current Internet browser seems to prevent me from viewing the content of this site. What type browser do I need?
Solution:
We recommend the current
Internet Explorer 7 by Microsoft, since java is mostly used.
It's important to install the "Service Pack 1" to be able to watch Videos or Live Cams.
The system requires the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
Problem:
I have trouble watching videos, either the content doesn't download or it runs slowly or with constant interruptions.
Solution:
Videos are coded for DSL speed or faster and therefore require the appropriate speed connection in order to view the content smoothly and in optimal quality. If you do use DSL or a faster speed for your Internet connection and still experience trouble, then you might need to adjust your player to the right connection speed. For help view your player's user manual!
Problem:
I am using a Firewall for my Internet connection and can therefore only view some of the content.
Solution:
Firewalls not only have the great advantage to block undesired content, but will also block material you might want to view.
Deactivation of your Firewall for the duration of use will eliminate the problem.
(We obtain our content first hand and for the most part run it from our own servers; hence we are confident and can guarantee high security.)
Problem:
I want to cancel my subscription, but don't know how to go about it.
Solution:
Please refer to your billing information and contact the billing service you used to sign up directly.

Live-Cams
Most Live-Cams in the member's area are sent via Windows Media Video format.
You require Windows Media Player 9. (Download Media Player 9) Important Fact: All Live-Chats are programmed based on Java, hence the requirement for the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
If you use Internet Explorer 6, then you should download the
Service Pack 1.
Chat help is available in the timetable of each Live-Cam and is explained in details.

AOL Probleme
You will experience pre-programmed problems with the use of the AOL Software.
This is to no fault of yours or our program, but definitely AOL's and AOL's alone.
AOL users are unaware of the fact that they are not actually surfing on the Internet, but in a software program with a proxy installed that prevents the connection between their PC and our server.
Changing the Proxy in the Internet options is meaningless. The AOL Software automatically returns to the personal settings without the users knowledge with every attempt to start again.
With a few tricks up your sleeve and the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer you might still be able to gain access with AOL to fully enjoy our programs.

Remedy for the use of AOL
When using AOL 6.0 there are a few settings you can adjust and visit our programs with that Software without connecting through Microsoft Internet Explorer directly.
The most important settings are principally located in the Internet Options. We will go through the different types of settings to make the reception to our or other Internet programs faultless below.
All Internet Options are different, depending on the Internet Explorer installed in your PC.
First select your Internet Options using the START button at the bottom left of your screen.
Select the start menu SETTINGS and then SYSTEM PREFERENCES
Under SYSTEM PREFERENCES you'll find the icon for INTERNET OPTIONS
By double-clicking on the icon you'll now find your options for the Internet.
On your screen you'll see now if you have the Internet Explorer of the 5th or 6th generation in your system. The difference is that you'll find an additional command for privacy when using the 6th generation.

After opening you'll see MAIN in the window.

Select the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES and activate the option CLEAR ALL HISTORY in the following window. This usually takes a few minutes!

Schritt 5:
Klicken Sie nun auf den Reiter VERBINDUNGEN
im folgenden Fenster klicken Sie auf LAN-EINSTELLUNGEN - jetzt öffnet sich
folgendes Fenster:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass in diesem Fenster NUR die AUTOMATISCHE SUCHE DER EINSTELLUNGEN
angeklickt ist. Es darf kein automatisches Konfigurationsscript und auf KEINEN
FALL die Option PROXYSERVER VERWENDEN ANGEKLICKT SEIN.
Schritt 6:
Klicken Sie nun auf den Reiter ERWEITERT
Scrollen Sie im nachfolgenden Fenster etwa bis zur Mitte, solange bis Sie die
EINSTELLUNGEN FÜR HTTP 1.1 finden
Achten Sie hier bitte darauf, dass hier NUR die Option HTTP 1.1 VERWENDEN aktiviert
ist. HTTP 1.1.ÜBER PROXYVERBINDUNGEN VERWENDEN darf AUF KEINEN FALL aktiviert
sein.

Wechseln Sie nun in den Internetoptionen auf den Reiter DATENSCHUTZ
Klicken Sie im nachfolgenden Fenster auf die Taste ERWEITERT
Klicken Sie im folgenden Fenster die Option AUTOMATISCHE COOKIEBEHANDLUNG AUFHEBEN
an. Stellen Sie die COOKIES VON ERSTANBIETERN auf ANNEHMEN - ebenso die COOKIES
VON DRITTANBIETERN auf ANNEHMEN und haken Sie die Option SITZUNGSCOOKIES IMMER
ZULASSEN an. Bestätigen Sie diese Einstellungen mit OK .
Schritt 8:
Schließen Sie nun die Internetoptionen mit Klick auf die Taste OK
Starten Sie nun AOL neu - Ihr Rechner sollte jetzt optimiert sein und ohne Probleme
unser Programm empfangen können.

Probleme mit Java
Technische Hilfe bei Problemen mit JAVA
Sie haben kein oder ein falsches Java installiert, Java ausgeschaltet oder
womöglich 2 unterschiedliche Javas installiert.
Java ist eine schnelle, systemübergreifende Programmiersprache, die mit
eigenen Komponenten (sogenannten Java-Applets) viele Interaktionen im Internet
erst ermöglicht. Leider gibt es bis heute immer noch keinen echten Standard
dafür, da sich der Rechteinhaber SUN diesbezüglich seit Jahren mit MICROSOFT
vor Gerichten rumschlägt, weil MICROSOFT hier eigene Veränderungen am
Javastandard vorgenommen hat. Unsere System laufen mit der Version Java 1.3.1
von SUN als auch mit der MVM(MICROSOFT VIRTUAL MASHINE).
Aufgrund des genannten Rechtsstreites zwischen SUN und MICROSOFT wurden in
der Vergangenheit bei WINDOWS XP-Systemen Installations-CDs ausgeliefert, die
kein Java (also auch nicht die VM von Microsoft) auf dem Rechner installiert haben.
Probleme tauchen auf, wenn man beide Versionen auf dem Rechner hat, da dann
auch beide versuchen den selben Javacode zu interpretieren. Wenn Sie hier die
MICROSOFT VM und eine SUN JAVA finden, löschen oder deaktivieren Sie am besten
die Version von SUN.
Falls Sie NUR die Version 1.4.1 des SUN JAVA auf Ihrem Rechner haben, holen
Sie sich bitte die Version 1.3.1 bei http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/download.html
- deaktivieren Sie danach die Version 1.4.x

Bitte nur ein Java installieren, da es evl. zu Konflikten kommen könnte,

Coockies Einstellung
Was sind Coockies?
Ein Cookie ist eine Information, die ein Web-Server (Anbieter) bei einem Klientenprogramm
(Kundenrechner) ablegt. Damit lassen sich Zustände speichern, so daß
ein Benutzer bei einem späteren Besuch seine gewohnte Umgebung vorfindet.
Cookies haben üblicherweise ein "Verfallsdatum", nach denen sie
gelöscht werden. Zu Sicherheit werden die Informationen eines Cookies nur
an den Web-Server zurückgegeben, der den Cookie ursprünglich angelegt
hat.
Coockies Zulassen (Internet Explorer 6)
Hier wird Schritt für Schritt erklärt, wie die richtige Coockie Einstellung
im Internet Explorer 6.0 einzustellen ist, damit die Inhalte richtig angezeigt
werden.
Schritt1:
öffnen Sie ein neues Internet Explorer Bildschirm und gehen in der anfangleiste
auf "Extras" und dann auf "Internet-Optionen"
Schritt 2:
Wechseln Sie nun in den Internetoptionen auf den Reiter DATENSCHUTZ
Klicken Sie im nachfolgenden Fenster auf die Taste ERWEITERT
Klicken Sie im folgenden Fenster die Option AUTOMATISCHE COOKIEBEHANDLUNG AUFHEBEN
